When winter comes, many car owners have to encounter the trouble of starting the vehicle in an instant. Sometimes the engine vibrates badly even when starting, especially if some cars are aging. Parked for a long night or several days, sometimes it is even difficult to catch a fire. There may even be a stall phenomenon affecting normal driving. The same goes for big names like concrete pump trucks and excavators. Nowadays, it is said that the problem that the concrete pump truck is difficult to start in a cold truck should be studied and dealt with.


1: Check whether the hydraulic oil is sufficient.


When browsing online, it is common to find captains complaining about insufficient hydraulic oil, broken oil pipes, broken oil pumps, etc. In fact, daily inspections and special attention to hydraulic oil adequacy can be avoided entirely. A simple way to check if the hydraulic oil is sufficient is to see if the oil level is between H and L. Exceeding H indicates too much hydraulic oil. Below L indicates insufficient hydraulic oil. In this case, it should be dealt with promptly.


Second: Check whether the fuel is sufficient.


Fuel is like food for excavators. Does it work for you if you don't eat? Usually looking at the fuel gauge is a relatively simple way to check fuel. If the fuel gauge fails, we can unscrew the fuel cap to see it. Be careful not to let open flames burn around when tightening the fuel tank cap.


Three: Check the joystick and handle.


Maybe many masters will dismiss it, who will check the joystick and handle specially? Do you know what problems they have every day? However, many old drivers will stretch their hands and operate the joystick subconsciously before they start. Actually, this is the check.


Four: Check whether the coolant is sufficient.


In fact, the above addition of water is to add coolant. Now, the technology has been developed. People usually add coolant directly to save trouble. The purpose is to prevent the radiator from freezing and fuselage damage in winter. Usually, it is also marked whether the coolant is sufficient. We just need to follow the directions to see if we need to add it. If the coolant is insufficient, it is easy to cause the water temperature to be too high, which will burn out the engine.


Five: Look at the diesel pre-filter, double fine filter, namely oil-water separator.


See if they need water. Diesel produced today is not as pure, especially for some small refineries. After the diesel passes through the pre-filter and the fine filter, there is usually some degree of moisture present. At this time, the water inside is released so as not to affect the starting of the engine. Diesel is not pure and can sometimes cause white smoke in the stack, especially when the engine is first started. This phenomenon is particularly serious.


Six: Check whether the oil is sufficient. If the concrete pump truck lacks lubricating oil, the consequences will be very serious. I'm sure all machine friends know that...


Seventh: Check the fan belt to see if the tension of the fan belt is appropriate.


The fan is a critical component to ensure adequate cooling. If the fan does not work properly, it can cause the engine to overheat and severely damage the engine. A very simple way to check for proper fan belt tension. I'm sure a digger with a little experience will help. That is to rub with one hand, whether the tension is appropriate, naturally very clear.


Eighth: Check the instrument panel and indicator lights to see if they need cleaning.


If you need to clean, please wipe gently with toilet paper. Dashboards and indicators are key components to detect faulty excavators. If it is too dirty, it will affect your observation and cause unnecessary losses.
